Getting Started
What is AegisPay? +
AegisPay is a multi-currency digital wallet and payment-gateway demonstration. You can hold several currencies, send transfers to other holders, convert between your own wallets and view a statement drawn from a real double-entry ledger.
How do I open an account? +
Choose Open Free Account, enter your email and a password, and you will land on your dashboard with wallets ready to use.
Which currencies are supported? +
The demo carries major fiat currencies such as USD, EUR and GBP alongside USDT. You can convert between your own wallets on the exchange page at the rate shown.
Deposits & Payouts
How do I add funds? +
Open Deposit and pick a method — card, bank wire, crypto or an alternative payment method. Each method credits your wallet when its rail clears.
How long does a transfer take to clear? +
It depends on the rail: internal transfers are instant, card clears in about 30 seconds, crypto in about 3 minutes and a bank wire in about 12 minutes. Until a movement clears it is shown as in-flight.
Why does my payout show a fee? +
Fees and the exchange spread are shown before you confirm. A withdrawal that lists a fee will debit the amount plus the fee, and your statement records both legs.
Security & Account
How is my account protected? +
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and a signed-in session can only touch its own wallets — account identifiers come from the session, never from the request. Partner integrations use a separate server-to-server key.
What is verification (KYC) for? +
Raising your verification tier on the KYC page unlocks higher limits. In this demo, do not upload real identity documents.
I forgot my password — what now? +
Reach out through the contact page. Never share your password with anyone; AegisPay will not ask for it.
Agents & OTC
What does an agent do? +
An agent operates as a verified cash-in/cash-out point, manages a currency float, and settles transactions against the ledger from the agent terminal.
How is a payout claim reconciled? +
A claim is checked against the ledger and returns one of four verdicts — confirmed, in-flight, inconclusive or not-found — and also surfaces near misses such as a mistyped reference or a fee-adjusted amount.
